Some great technology Nice people Good pay Free snacks Other perks (well-being, birthday gift, nice xmas present)
Svantaggi
Unfortunately there are a lot of cons at the moment and they far outweigh the positives. (I’ll have to agree with some of the other recent reviews that many of the recent positive reviews don’t seem to fit with my experience) The biggest problems all stem from the same thing - poor senior leadership. The CEO is very charismatic but she is very distracted and isn’t fixing the problems. She is totally fixated on her book, her brand as an entrepreneur and her role as a public speaker and life-coach, she doesn’t seem as focused on the company as she should be (just look at her LinkedIn activity and you’ll see what I mean). Meanwhile the exec team (many of whom are new in the last few months) just don’t seem to be functioning well together. There is confusion over who is responsible for what and the communication up and down the hierarchy seems broken. Some of the new exec hires seem disorganised and/or very self-centred... big personalities who seem better at playing politics and managing upwards than actual business execution* and motivating their employees As well as some poor recent senior hires, a lot of these problems probably stem from all the acquisitions the company has made in recent years but without good functional leadership I don’t see this being fixed any time soon. The people can be very nice even if the culture seems slightly saccharine. But unfortunately I would not recommend working here in the short to medium-term. * this is rather ironic given the CEO’s new book is all about execution
