The work is fairly straightforward. We have good leadership who actually care about you and your progress/success and I really enjoy my coworkers. I'm happy with the pay and I'm happy with my incentives.

Seems like our Travel Pass for free travel is much more limited than previous years. Seems like there are all sorts of restrictions now. We recently had layoffs and I was really sad to see a lot of good employees go just to appease the current political administration. But it does seem like every agency is doing that, so I don't know if Amtrak leadership had a choice. The other thing is we have been stripped of all our amenities: quarterly lunches, money for clubs, birthday celebrations, even the free Keurig K-cups/coffee are all gone now.
