The people are nice, lots of training and lots of leads available most of the time.

You are classed as self employed, which means you have no rights as an employee, but you are still expected to act like one. No wage, but expected to do admin and meetings etc outside of sales calls that you won't get paid for. The commission is ok, and can be very good in some cases, but they will deduct things from your commission a lot and sometimes even leave you owing them money!

They guilt trip you for not thinking about the team leader who drives you to the middle of god knows where when you specifically wanted to work in your area/area you chosen and when you need to go back, its a hassle. I had to see X Person on X day after 4 and it was like i ruined their life. Pay is not guarenteed. You can do a week of this and not get paid a penny. Going to ride this out but if no substantial improvements, then i am jumping ships to a PPH job. Customers are so spoiled, clearly they should be coming to the company praying on their knees, begging for replacement parts. If you get a lead, most likely they will chicken out and screw you over after the amount of glazing. 150+ doors and knocks and not one of them wants a conservatory. I feel like, whilst writing this, i was just picked bc no one else was there. No competition to get a job like this. Just selected as a poor sap to work this mental anguish. All it takes is One. Bad. Door.
