I've stayed because of the great people I work with, the positive workplace culture, the opportunities to work in different service types and regions and the good quality and challenging nature of the services developed and delivered.

Recruitment is hard in the Northern Territory, our retention rates are comparatively good but there is always turnover to contend with. It's also an organisation that has grown fast, has diverse services and is dispersed across a large geographic region. People work hard, but value the flexibility of the workplace and the collegial nature of working relationships. NGO salaries and conditions pale against NT public service rates, so it's hard to compete. But organisation salaries benchmark reasonably well within the Community Service Industry.
