- high turnover - knowledge sharing is the biggest problem - no longterm vision, everyone is interested in their targets because they result in bonus payment - the actual utility of some targets is questionable... - no higher sense of company values - tasks shared among departments are a nightmare if people ignore your requests for weeks - a lot of kinship in the company, proclaimed meritocracy often flawed with "friends over colleague" approach - people who are friends in real life with their managers are generally better treated, have less workload allocated and their attitude is tolerated, while other team members struggle - a lot of bureaucracy to get anything done - overtimes accepted as something normal that should be done but rarely paid - bottom-up initiatives & issues ignored unless it "explodes" somewhere and management abroad becomes interested
