Vantaggi
1. Exceptional people: my colleagues here are all very inspiring, and not just in their raw technical capability (which is pretty damn high) but also their personal nature. 2. Real focus patient health: improving wellbeing is *actually* the metric that is being considered when we're making product decisions. I left medicine as I thought I could do more for patients here, so this alignment is a big deal. 3. Focus on personal growth: the coaching culture here is taken seriously. I get one-on-ones with senior engineers (including founders) on a regular basis, specifically to focus on personal growth.
Svantaggi
The combination of start-up uncertainty, accompanied by a big vision, mean it's definitely not for the faint hearted. Expected to have your skill pushed, and to be dropped into the deep end on big problems. People here *do* work very hard, so go into this with their eyes open - it's definitely not an "easy out" to industry.
