Everything Animax does is at the top of its field. From the animators, mechanical designers, controls engineers, stitchers, patterers, electricians, sculptors, machinists, mechanics, project managers, and leadership. That makes it a very challenging environment intellectually. Animax provides a unique opportunity to learn and grow by just trying to keep up with your peers. The projects are unique and the people are unique.

Leadership from the parent company in Singapore is often out of touch with the business needs of the company, which leads to slow moving progress on some issues. However, this was beginning to change. Also, rapid growth without strong organizational foundations has lead to some growing pains, as one may expect.

Man, where do I start? Mismanagement is an understatement, labor laws and OSHA don’t exist (even though you will be required to take safety tests every year that have nothing to do with your job), the pay is BEYOND abysmal, they can’t maintain leadership to save their lives, but like everyone else has said, at least the coffee’s free!
