Vantaggi
I'm generally not one to write reviews, but APT is one of the best places I've ever worked and it kind of pissed me off to read these crappy reviews. It's a comfortable air conditioned shop, you can listen to music while you work and everyone is generally very friendly. We have a free BBQ once a week and periodic work trips like golf tournaments, etc. Many of the people who work here have family or friends that also do, and they recommend them for a reason. A typical work week here is 40-50 hours, sometimes when we are busy you are expected to work more, which is not uncommon in the manufacturing industry(work comes in waves). They pay for training (tow-motor, etc) which is pretty cool. In my opinion, Dave; the owner, is a solid guy. He works harder than pretty much anyone in the shop, and genuinely cares about making APT a good place to work.
Svantaggi
Sometimes we can get really busy, the feeling of always being behind on work can get a bit tiring. Also we are constantly growing and hiring new people/ taking on more jobs. This is a good thing; however, the shop is only so big and sometimes it feels somewhat cramped and it's hard to find somewhere to put stuff. The pay is less than larger production shops, but IMO it's a fair trade for a better work environment and more opportunities for advancement.
