Vantaggi
Aon as a whole is a very good company to work for, it has great leadership and potential for growth is very high. But Aon's service center in Lincolnshire which is known as Aon Client Services is managed very poorly. If one does not care about any recognition and wants to spend time for timely paychecks, ACS is a good place, comes with good benefit plans. If you are passionate, dedicated, hard working, ambitious about your career, Aon Client Services is NOT the right place at all. If you like to chit chat and suck up to Mark Schmalzer and Martha Ronning, this is definitely your place. Salary is much low considering the work pressure but since its a service center (expense center) and produces no business, hence no career advancement opportunities, its kind of a deadened. Visionless very static and dictator kind of traditional leadership, would not be wrong to say its run like a typical school with Martha the principal of the school. Never the less, ACS does have some very highly knowledgeable vintage unrecognized employees who taught me a lot of things about insurance, ACS organization is still standing because of those vintage uncared unrecognized employees' hard work. I am rating Aon as 3 star because the company is good but taking away two stars for poor ACS leadership.
Svantaggi
I wanted to write some positive things, but alas! After spending 4 years in ACS with a hope that I would be noticed and recognized for my handwork and dedication at some point, only saw disappointment. ACS is run by two ladies and although I did not want to feel victimized at all in four years, I was forced to believe they were very racists. Every promotion, recognition went to Young White Girls and boys only, they don't care how good a job you do, they just care how much you can suck up and if they like you, sure they will do everything to retain you, which is very unfair to other employees who work hard day in and day out for their client's satisfaction.Currently Aon Client Services has 20+ positions open and they are ready to pay extra referral bonus amounts in order to fill those positions. They did have a job fair which did not go well as one manager mentioned they could offer only two people. It sounds right because its the dead end with no career benefits. Once out of ACS, its hard to get a job outside, the more time one spends in ACS, the employee loses value.
