We build an amazing product and care about our customers. A tremendous amount of effort goes into making sure the work environment is top-notch and it starts with hiring great people. Everyone I have worked with has been incredibly friendly, talented and driven to succeed. Monthly company meetings hosted by the CEO help keep everyone informed about the direction of the company. Kitchens are always fully stocked. Thoughtful company swag is frequently given out. Plenty of opportunities to collaborate and network with other departments. Team activities like city league sports are encouraged and often sponsored. Leadership team genuinely strives to help you advance your career, but ultimately you own your career path and success. I have been here for over 5 years and can say it was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Over the course of my career I can't think of any Cons. Cost of living in Santa Barbara is expensive but in my opinion worth it.

Frequent team outings and social events that help build relationships across the team. Generally a friendly, social environment!

The property management team is highly competitive when it comes to promotions, and I’ve seen BDRs remain in the same seat for years or eventually leave, as internal advancement opportunities can be limited. However, for top performers, there is promising upside, and you get to work with some of the best leaders in the organization. On the investment management team, leadership quality is more uneven, and there appears to be a lack of management experience, which has created gaps in coaching, accountability, and overall team development. As a result, performance outcomes have lagged, with the majority of BDRs and AEs struggling to consistently hit target. Team turnover has also been notably high, and leadership engagement only increased after a large portion of the team had already decided to leave, which by that point felt too late to rebuild morale or trust.
