Here it goes! - Nepotism and favouritism - occurs in most teams with relatives being given preference over actual capability. - Internal office politics - no growth for new hires as the old timers have stayed with the company for over 7 years and become directors with time scale promotion and not capability. - Tamil is the official language - most internal teams speak in Tamil and only with U.S clients, they speak in broken english. - South Indian heritage : if you know Tamil, you will be hired even if you don't have the tech skills. Office politics at its worst: across sales, pre-sales, product engineering and product management teams. I hear even HR team has it. HR team- led by a chief people officer who is a puppet sitting in the U.S. No connection with middle or lower level management. - Culture & Values - Real culture is to fire people based on their convenience. Lots of freshers laid off in the last one year or so. C suite team - a group of jokers who don't have a vision or rather the vision changes with the c level person being hired.
