Svantaggi
Every ounce of accountability falls directly on the Data Analyst. If a customer sends their data late or sends the wrong data, or if the Implementation Lead adds new "issues" at the last possible minute, you will still be expected to hit the deadline, despite having far less time to do so. This can, and will lead to 30+ hour work weekends, with no compensation for your time Communication is nonexistent. You will be expected to maintain perfect records, down to the minute, of your productivity, but you will not be alerted in any fashion when a project due date changes. This makes planning and scheduling nearly impossible, leading to multiple schedule conflicts. The company invests nothing in its analysts that aren't working on their biggest accounts. No raises for the vast majority of the department, however, we hired 8 new senior vice presidents. Most forms of employee appreciation were done away with. Quarterly awards meetings, social mixers, summer fireworks shows, all gone. In addition to not investing in current employees, hiring to replace lost employees is also lacking. All of the work that was being done by an employee that departs is unceremoniously dropped on someone else's desk, whether or not they have time in their schedule for it. The hiring process is incredibly slow, apparently, as only one person was hired to replace 7 that left during my time. New hires typically flee within the first 2 years.
