No longer a great place to work - Recensione dipendente - Employee presso Applied Systems

Currently Applied is undergoing a transformation for the worse. The current merit/bonus budget is the worst it has been in over 10 years. And while the leadership boasts about record profits, and happily takes their increases and bonuses, everyone else is squeaking by, below inflation and with the crumbs left over from the gluttony. The company is either lying about the business profits, or they have taken a drastic new (and disrespectful) view of their employees. In recent months I have witnessed a mass exodus of talent as leadership spins aimlessly around. The best and brightest have become frustrated with the lack of direction and have abandoned ship. While those close to retirement sit in lifeboats waiting for the ship to go down. I don’t see this stopping any time soon. My entire career at Applied I have consistently boasted about working here, and how great it is. It is with a lot of pain that I have to say this is no longer true. They do not value any of their employees, there is no direction for the future and no focus on improving anything already in place. Our customers complain that everything has stagnated, and every “new” project seems like endless busy work to distract from the water slowly puddling around our ankles. This is not a place to start your career, and this is not a place to stay. What used to be a great company with a bright future seems to be nothing more than a listless boat swaying with the ocean slowly being drug down and taking everyone on board with it.
