Good benefits - profit sharing, holidays, etc. Management is reasonable about sick time and vacation use. Excellent work-life balance. Very reasonable expectations for hours worked. Although this may be mostly related to the long stretches of time we go without seeing the owners. Culture is fairly relaxed, and colleagues are pleasant, environment productive. Real passion for safety and the needs our products fill.

Non-existent internal accountability. Senior staff are laissez-faire in the extreme, and face no consequences for negligence. Work force is split in two and works in separate offices. This does not facilitate teamwork or communication. There is also an office in Montana for some reason. We have a round of lay-offs every few years. Cash-flow management is a problem, evidently. No annual review system. Getting a raise or promotion is a haphazard affair. Pervading sense that the developers are the only valued employees, resulting in extremely one-sided collaboration and very high turnover in projects. No real IT manager. It's a mess.
