The company is led by two very inexperienced co-founders who seem more focused on building their personal brand on LinkedIn than on actually running the business effectively. There’s a lot of talk, a lot of photo ops and feel-good posts — but very little substance behind the scenes. Despite their public-facing confidence, the leadership appears disconnected from the internal realities of the company. Key contributors with deep institutional knowledge were laid off — not due to performance, but seemingly to reduce costs. Ironically, at the same time, the company spends heavily on flashy events and brand-building exercises. There’s a constant pressure to return to the office, and management often looks for excuses to terminate employees who prefer remote work. The message is clear: if you’re not in the office, you’re not secure. Team structures and responsibilities are in a constant state of flux, making it difficult to focus or feel any sense of stability. After multiple rounds of layoffs, the remaining employees have had their workloads multiplied — with little to no additional support. The culture is far more performative than productive, and the internal chaos makes it difficult to do meaningful, impactful work.
