Family comes first. - Experience with being remote-first for years in a world that's still trying to catch up with going remote. - Extreme exec team transparency around financials, business planning and strategy. - Feels like a year-one startup despite years of business: same excitement and glow - Bootstrapped, and not beholden to outside interests besides those of their customers

- Minimal benefits for US employees - International employees bereft of even those minimal benefits due to functioning as contractors - No salary transparency/standardization (typical of US private sector) - Limited career growth options within the company - Feels like a year-one startup despite years of business: same strategic immaturity and extremely slow growth due to bootstrapped approach yielding reduced funding. - Ruins you for working in businesses without the same level of transparency and empathy (I had to include something half-positive, as the above cons are dramatically offset by the pros)

Great 100% remote culture and work environment. The company is fully committed to building a remote-first company that hires talent from all over the world. Because of this, you get to work with some very talented individuals who are passionate about what they do. And you can do your work from almost anywhere in the world. The work-life balance can be great.

No strategic direction or vision. It all starts at the top with the CEO/Founder, who is inexperienced, lacks focus and struggles with fundamental business issues. He struggles to make decisions and communicate to the company - as a result, the rest of the teams are paralyzed due to his indecision. The CEO constantly changes direction and chases each shiny object that comes his way. Also, not much opportunity for growth on both the professional development side and the financial side. No salary increases and no performance-based incentives. And the leadership team does not invest in growth opportunities for their team members.
