- The people: Genuinely some of the kindest and most intelligent people. There is a culture of trust in the agency which means that you can have a laugh with people at all levels as everybody trusts each other to do their job well. Every single person I worked with was extremely good at what they do and made coming into the office a pleasure. - Clients: I had the chance to work with some really innovative clients across a number of sectors including AI, space and engineering biology. If you have a passion for science and innovation, you will find the client work fascinating. - Opportunity: Ideas are welcome and I was given plenty of opportunity to undertake work beyond my job level whilst also being given the support to ensure I could deliver it. The agency will give you the opportunities to grow. Flexibility: April Six is incredibly flexible with regards to office working.

- Flexibility: Whilst it can be positive, the Agency is definitely more on the remote side with most people averaging 2 days a week in the office (in London). If you are somebody who prefers office working, you can find yourself being the only one from your team in 1-2 days a week. - Promotions: Not clear on the extent to which your targets influence your career progression. Felt at times as if getting promoted was a battle, which can take months, despite clearly being ready. Line managers appear to have little influence in your progression other than raising the idea. - Office: The London office is in a great location and is aesthetically great. However, it is not conducive to good working. There is not sufficient IT equipment e.g. not enough monitors, missing keyboards etc and it is almost impossible to get a meeting room Monday-Thursday. As it is a MISSION Group office, it is very busy and gets extremely noisy with people taking calls in breakout areas due to a lack of meeting rooms. The office does not feel like an "April Six" space. - Structure: The company restructured in early 2023 and the new structure feels somewhat awkward and silo'd. Apart from those who worked in the old structure, collaboration is minimal and teams tend not to mix. Why not do joint socials?
