Where to start lol. This place is literally a sweatshop in the service industry offering the most subpar garbage pest control service in the entire industry. But you can go to google or yelp to see for yourself how horrible their business practices are and how worthless the pest control is. I only bring it up to point out that if you were to get a job here, you can be sure your job won't be safe as the incoming recession is sure to hit Aptive hard. No reason anyone with any common sense would be signing up for pest control right now, much less with a garbage company like Aptive. Acquisition: Aptive was recently acquired by some soulless venture capitalist fund. I'm sure that'll be great for your job security. Offshore employees: They're HUGE on their offshore operation. They don't value the quality of western devs over the "savings" of cheap overseas labor, and it shows it the quality of their codebases. Just wait until you see what a mess it is in there. Not to mention, since they don't value higher quality code, it again doesn't bode well for your job security. Benefits: Very mediocre benefits. Not the worst I've seen but pretty bad for this size of company. Pay: Not horrendous but definitely below industry standard. Again, see offshore devs. Why would they pay well? I'm sure more layoffs are on the horizon. I just got laid off last week despite having been just hired in December. What a joke. Don't make the worst mistake of your career with a recession looming. This company will not last.
