Thank you for providing your feedback. Health and safety of our employees and contractors is our number one priority. The single most important initiative we have embarked on is our Journey to Zero, a global effort to reduce lost time injuries throughout the company. Since the merger, ArcelorMittal USA’s lost time injury (LTI) rate has improved by approximately 78 percent. But our work isn’t done. We always have a focus on further reducing the rate of severe injuries and fatality prevention through a number of corporate initiatives and joint programs with the United Steelworkers. Our global focus relies on positively impacting health and safety behavior, contractor safety performance, and actions to avoid fatal accidents and injury.
