Vantaggi

good benefits and location.

Svantaggi

All in all this company has no idea how to run it's business. They ignore key aspects of the industry such as technology and training. Managers don't know how to train or speak to co-workers. Company wastes money on outsource with low or no qualifications or training. Contractors don't get paid which ends up causing more issues with not having proper people trained when they quit. Programs are pushed out by sales people who have no idea what the job takes. Certain areas of the company are ignored, and those with experience are pushed to the side because management doesn't want to deal with change. Backwards mentality.

AGI is headed in the right direction as it relates to training. AGI University was kicked off in 2016. The company is listening to the needs of the employees and working to provide necessary training.

Vantaggi

In my experience, the main upside was strong compensation compared to other opportunities, and many of the non-executive employees were great people to work with.

Svantaggi

During my time there, the culture felt very much like a boys’ club with a clear inner circle. If you were “in,” things could be very good; if you weren’t, it was easy to feel excluded. The company presents itself as Christian-led, with chaplains, devotionals, and Bible studies integrated into work life. Some people appreciate this, but for others it can feel uncomfortable or out of place in a private-sector environment. Work–life balance was poor, with long hours, frequent travel, and many meetings that often didn’t add much value. Operationally, I found the technology and systems to be outdated and inefficient, relying heavily on on-premise servers and spreadsheets, which made it harder for project managers and operations to do their jobs. Support functions like IT, marketing, and HR did not feel empowered or effective, and HR did not feel like a neutral, safe resource if you were outside the inner circle. Overall, I would not recommend this environment to someone who is progressive, innovative, or looking for a healthy, modern workplace.
