They tell you when you are being hired in how friendly everyone is, yet no one really talks to each other. This creates a strange vibe in the office. You are able to work from home, but it is frowned upon if you actually do it. You are at the mercy of the engineer, how fast they do their work is directly correlated to how fast you can finish your projects. They tell you there is room to advance, what they don't tell you is that you need to be with the company around 10 years to be considered. The HR department is not fast, so most positions within the company that are vacant are not filled for months, sometimes more than a year.
