Great place to work at! - Recensione dipendente - Mechanical Engineering Intern presso Area-I

Fun work environment and people, all departments are open to each other and in constant communication. As an intern I was given a fair amount of responsibility and inclusion in the workings of the company (meetings, procedures).

My internship was in the middle of a corporate acquisition so there were some complexities with that.

-Extremely friendly staff -Lots of opportunity to show what you can really do -No matter your work style, you will learn a lot- but has enormous opportunity to network and learn from some of the most intelligent people I have ever met

-Can be extremely high pace with deadlines or extremely slow depending on what is available -Did not have mid-internship interview which led to exit interview being a critique of things you should have done better but don't have the opportunity to improve on -Assigned manager was not present for days/weeks at a time for company trips -Depending on who you are assigned, you could get a high pace team with exciting work or put working on one software the entire internship.
