Risposta di Arnold Clark
2wHi, Lynne here.
Thank you very much for this detailed review of your time with Arnold Clark.
I’m really sorry to hear that aspects of your experience aren’t meeting your expectations, particularly around progression, recognition and ways of working. Your feedback is important, and I appreciate you being open about where you feel improvements could be made. I’ve ensured this feedback is shared with management in our Digital teams.
We’re committed to creating an environment where everyone feels supported, valued and able to develop in their role. We know we have some work to do in certain areas - you’ll be aware of us rolling out the SFIA Skills Framework within our Digital team to ensure that progression is fair, transparent and that everyone is working to industry standard levels. Our people are important and we want to continue to invest in them to encourage their development of skills and learning to allow them to bring their best to the exciting and impactful projects they work on. We feel the SFIA framework plays a key role in this for Digital.
Hopefully you’ll participate in our recently launched employee engagement survey which gives everyone a safe, anonymous way to share their views. Our Think Employee team want to understand what’s working and where we need to focus our efforts and the main board have committed to using the results of this survey to help us make meaningful change.
I’d also encourage you to continue sharing your thoughts through your line manager or directly with the People team, who are always available to listen and provide support in confidence. As you’ll know, my door, and that of any of the directors, is always open – we want to hear from you, so please don’t hesitate to come and give us your feedback directly too.
Thank you again for your honesty and for highlighting these points.
Lynne McBurney, Group People Director
