      Arup does some cutting-edge work in all disciplines it is involved in. Good work life balance for employees

      IT is bloated though and very fragmented. Many a times, the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. Corporate Services work culture is different from the rest of the firm. Excellence not rewarded all the time. Planning is minimal and people are overworked.

      Working at Arup was a great experience, surrounded by smart, motivated, and mission-driven peers.

      This may have since improved, but at least previously, the America's region felt rather second-class compared to UK. Most/all senior leadership, even in the US, was British.

      great supervisor, lots of professional development opportunities

      insane workload and expect you to be available for work 24/7. some teams are drowning and others have no resourcing. layoffs happen completely randomly and they lay off people who are 100 percent billable. profit share is bs and you get nothing as a junior member
