You learn what a call center is like here. You learn how SQL databases work. You learn how strict many large enterprise servers are. no background checks, financial checks. You get to work during the holidays for free (free overtime, including Thanksgiving and Xmas for free). You get to give your bonuses to your CEO so he can buy himself a car. You get the honor of paying your own insurance. You save the company money by not getting raises, never buying you free lunches. You get pizza parties for birthdays... Not that I personally received one in 3 years.

Very stressful clients, some are so rude, you question why you still work there. Managers can set you up to fail. If you request training, it may be denied, and your risk of maining employee status is up in the air. So befriend the manager.

They hire really talented staff, so you’ll learn a lot

Upper management is bad. They make decisions on a whim, causing everyone to shift focus at the drop of a hat. They don’t seem to care about current customers unless they are deemed important accounts. They only care about making more sales, instead of making the product good for their customers. They put their employees in situations where they will get yelled at by customers because the quality of the software is so bad.
