Some really cool people. The corporate apartment was pretty cool. There were a lot of fun times that were had by everyone at the apartment
Svantaggi
Leadership doesn't seem to know which direction the company is headed. Bad decision after bad decision. We were trying to sell a Mid Market priced product to SMB companies. The product is almost 1/1 with other products and costs a lot more. The product is far inferior to others at the price point. I'll add to the other reviews; Although super nice and fun to talk to, the C level leadership doesn't add a ton of value to the operation. They also are almost scared of feedback... Which is funny considering that AskNicely is a feedback company. AskNicely is not run like a typical SAAS company. If you are used to working in SAAS and are looking for a well structured, well oiled machine, look elsewhere. I've been in SAAS for about 10 years. This is the worst run company I've ever been apart of or heard of. I call it amateur hour BS. I once was accidentally sent screenshots of many other AE's offer letters. In that document was a table with all of Senior Sales Leadership Execs salaries and OTEs... I'm not in leadership.. Let that sink in. You need a contract redlined? Hopefully you have 2 weeks to wait. I've lost deals due to terrible internal controls. If you're seasoned in sales, you know time kills deals.. AskNicely is lucky the job market sucks right now or they would have lost multiple other employees. In my time with AskNicely I've seen about 70% of the AE team leave on their own accord. 70(!)%! Now, to sum this all up.. When I signed on to work with AN, I ignored these Reviews.. I specifically called out the reviews to the CEO after I was hired.. He will blame the reviews on disgruntled employees who were laid off during covid. They've gone through like 2-3 big layoffs since Aaron has been CEO. He will also say that he has a coach to help him with all the feedback and he's working on it. I'm telling you.. Trust these reviews. Good luck in your search!
