Super-small 'call center' team of 5 with an office manager. We're all contractors in temp to hire roles, and everyone brings her/his own skills to the role. Right now it's primarily inbound and outbound as a last stop to keep patients from going to collections, but hopefully in time there will be more responsibilities and learning opportunities. Location is a major plus!! Inner SE Portland 2 floors above Horse Brass pub. I literally walk 3 blocks to work.

The only con I have is that due to HIPAA regulations (not a con) we have to go outside down 2 flights of stairs to talk on the phone. Also, no access to a nearby staff kitchen.

HIPPA training, and call experience.

Extremely hostile and negative environment . No room for growth. They make you feel like a worthless mule. They down sized and lost business. One of the supervisors is extremely rude and will make you feel like a fool if you ask any questions. They will bring you down, racist supervisors, and will fire anyone they dont like. They will push you to collect money when their is nothing to work due to lack of accounts. Dont ever bother asking for help, you will be scolded and looked at as you are a nuisance for even asking. Major favoritism.
