Low pay, occasionally some clients can be uncooperative and very mean to caregivers, which makes the job really stressful when trying to leave at the end of your shift on time; some clients and/or their families micromanage caregivers despite the caregiver being a certified CNA and knowing how to do their job. My regular client’s family would talk insultingly about myself and other caregivers when we left the room, thinking we couldn’t hear them, while we did personal care with the client...it made us very uncomfortable and it wasn’t worth putting up with anymore. Also, some clients are purposely defiant and disrespectful to the caregivers time and job.
