Vantaggi
AVP has a strong leadership group that understands the veterinary industry, and the COO is a veterinarian. You wear multiple hats, work with various departments, and learn a lot very quickly. Leadership is always willing to help out where needed. Weekly all hands meetings are held to go over everyone's wins for the week and just to say hi which is always nice. The biggest thing is that working at AVP allows you to take ownership and responsibility in the work that you're doing without feeling like you're going to be scrutinized for every little thing.
Svantaggi
Being fully remote has its limitations but really any fully remote position would be the same. The team is spread across the country so there can be some time zone differences. AVP is still a relatively new "start up" and there are growing pains, but they are worth it.
