- they will give you an opportunity even without prior experience, which is something other companies should copy. - first of all the people, the collègues are nice and kind and also most of the supervisors and TLs. 90% of the agents are immigrants with some kind of university or college background some with masters or mba. You can easily spot who is from Montreal because of their lack of education, bad manners and unkempt look. -on-site cafeteria - good down-town location near metro and buses - they pay on time and until now accurately calculated - Bonus for sales, however sales is not the main focus

To put it bluntly - Absence of company culture - you feel like a labourer as you are paid according to the login time, however you are required to arrive at least 20 minutes earlier which are not paid. - you have to learn too many Fido policies, procedures, issues, offerts and the list has no ending. - High staff turnover, given the wage ant the type of work this is understandable, at the end what is impacted by this is the client service. - The schedule sucks you are required to work weekend and evenings. - They have cut agents schedules by half or even an hour daily so that they do not have to pay the second break which is absolutely necessary, as a consequence the workdays look longer and the mental fatigue is higher, in addition the fact of being sit during several hours affects your circulatory system. - The Fido floor is an Arabian territory, if you speak arabe you get promoted, middle management, they do not even respect and speak in Arabe between them. - Dirty facilities, I think they have not vacuumed the floor in years. - there are system bugs frequently and of course you are not paid if you get disconnected. - Management does not even care of providing good and functional tools to agents, there are at least 10 stations that never work, some microphones do not work and the sound quality is really poor and eve this you have to give the best customer service experience. - No to mention the billing issues and defective devices claims that you have to handle on a daily basis. - You have to endure many times with calls from impolite, liar and rude people. - Definitely not a job you will wake up in the morning eager to go there.

- It's a full time job in Fredericton. All you need to get in is a pulse. - With their turnover as high as it is, standards are pretty low. - Advancement to management is pretty easy due to high turnover. Just show a bit of persistence and effort and you'll stand out. - The experience is great for when you apply to another job. - If you can get onto the eChat team, you've got an almost decent job (for half of what you ought to be paid, admittedly, but so it goes). - Very occasional incentives for high traffic times (Black Friday, Boxing Day, etc)

- Upper management sees you as disposable parts, not people. - There's no reliable communication from or between management. - Objectively toxic work environment, little to no effort made regarding harassment complaints. - Scheduling is a frequently evolving disaster. - Labour laws are treated as more of a suggestion. - Fairly frequent abusive customers. - Pay is essentially minimum wage for what is a fairly complex customer service position. Commission is negligible even when making a decent amount of sales. - You'll be working for a Canadian cell phone provider, so things get pretty evil pretty quick (have fun telling folks they'll have to pay all those usage fees!) - The equipment and systems are of very low quality. - Very little upwards mobility past open Team Leader, Integrator, or Trainer positions. - Advancement leads to significant increase in responsibilities, marginal increase in pay.
