Watch your back! Don't count on anything management tells you because it's likely to change in an instant. I was let go for being honest with management after over five years in the department. Management goes above and beyond to appease operations no matter the consequences to their dispatchers. Management will ALWAYS side with operations. Has misleading discipline policy. When hired they tell you that after you complete a "step" length of time (basically probation) that your record will be clean and no previous instances will be held against you. I'm here to tell you that couldn't be further from the truth.
