Difficult to advance / get promoted. Most people leave to get ahead. Useful/ meaningful training is scarce. Very hierachical. Low appetite for innovation.

When and where it counts, leadership seems unwilling to stick their necks out and stand up for their employees, and tend to prioritise most other things above employee development and other employee needs, which makes it very difficult to retain talent and to believe all the talk about valuing employees.
