It's hard to know where to start. I was initially very excited to work at this company given their client list and the fact that they said all the right things to make me want to work there: promises of a great work/life balance, positive culture/work environment, oppportunities to advance, great communication, etc. Unfortunately the reality of working here could not be farther from these promises.
The work/life balance here is terrible. Get ready to respond to client and team emails at all hours, and often work nights and weekends sometimes without comp time given. Also, there is a history of being understaffed due to the high turnover rate, so be prepared to do multiple jobs and take on more than you can handle with little to no support.
The culture here is non-existent. At one point they invested in leadership training for the management and executive staff. While that sounds great, none of the leadership tactics learned were ever applied or enforced and instead the rumor mill and throwing people under the bus are the true skills encouraged in all staff. There is a strong "mean girls" and "mean boys" club prevalent in leadership and if you're not in that club, be prepared to be pushed out and crushed down at each turn.
If you're looking for a place to grow, this is not the place. While they'll tell you that they want to make sure that they're putting "the right people in the right places" what they really mean is "if you're one of our favorites you will be able to advance regardless of skill, merit or a history of growth and success with clients." If you're not a favorite, there's just no chance for you regardless of how hard you work.
This company has a history of treating really great people with utter disrespect, dishonesty and consequently discarding them. This company will also have meetings upon meetings to discuss the best way to handle things: client issues, staffing decisions, etc. and if they come to a good decision that will lead to a positive path forward, they will often decide to do the exact opposite.
