Flexibility of hybrid work. When I started it was more flexible then the come into office mandate began for 3 days a week which was still okay to me. Company events are fun and lots of young people as well. The Ausenco graduate program is really good, allows us to try different things in different departments.

Svantaggi

Don't expect training. Not a lot of room to learn, limited space to grow and is quite slow. Management in mechanical design on the mining side is not experienced with management, leadership or team skillbuilding. Does not know how to run a team and is smug about their position. The room to charge to clients is very minimal, makes the job stressful. Salary is very low, as a young adult I cannot live on it. Unrealistic job expectations. Overall, the turnover rate is high enough that a lot of people left for another company. Does not value their employees to grow, expected to come with a set skillset.

I had the pleasure of working with intelligent, committed, and personable colleagues. This office offers perks such as free weekly lunches when business is strong, and is conveniently located near several restaurants. Company often hires direct, and management seems reasonably dedicated in preserving the existing work force during industry downturns. Management overall treats employees respectfully and encourages open communication. Company additionally offers a flexible 9/80 option.

The salaries and benefits are relatively average. Management may hire quickly during strong but usually brief economic periods, resulting in a surplus of employees to compete for work in the coming months. Overall lack of project diversity and structure can leave employees vulnerable to layoffs during extended slow periods, and the perks tend to vanish. Technical assistance tends to be significantly limited from lack of experienced personnel. No clear path up the corporate ladder is defined.
