Very low pay for the field and for a very difficult job. They offer bonuses (for referrals) instead of raising wages, which makes it clear they don't care about the constantly revolving door of new hires.

First, thank you so much for the support you provide to our families every day. We’re sorry to hear that you feel the compensation for this position is low. Our HR team conducts pay reviews twice a year for Behavior Technicians. This is in an effort to go above and beyond the normal once a year pay increase that most companies offer. We want to ensure that our staff always feels fairly compensated. We offer referral bonuses because we believe our BTs know who will make the best BTs and we want to compensate you for referring others! 😊 We do really appreciate you taking the time to provide us with feedback though so we’ll be sure that we share this with the leadership team.

•Client cancellations can cause BT’s to lose money if clients are not able to meet makeup requirements, however when you do this job in the interest in quality care and NOT solely focused on money aspects you still feel rewarded knowing that you clients are getting services they need but are not being pushed to any detriment!
