This review if for the SF office only: The CEO of this company has raised gobs of money and yet very little, if any, of it is being used to take care of employees. Leadership cares about investors 1st, customers 2nd, employees 3rd. It feels like one of those typical start-ups that suffer from mismanagement, a lack of revenue and greed. A lot of people are talking about getting out.

- Pay was decent - My manager was supportive and helpful (they were way overworked, and have since left)

- Basecamp employees are afforded opportunities/benefits not given to Property employees. E.g., Property employees accrue up to 5 days of PTO their first year (that's inclusive of sick time), while Basecamp employees get Unlimited PTO right out the gate. - They expect loyalty while offering none of their own. They seem to let a few people go every year around December, regardless of job performance. - They advertise all roles with generic phrases like "competitive benefits, generous PTO" that don't reflect reality. (see above: 5 days of PTO your first year if you work on Property) - No 401(k) match - Company values are performative - CEO is coddled and out of touch
