They are terrible company and fire people after they over-extended themselves. They have all these pamphlets and brochures about “People Driven”, it drives people to quit or become unemployed. There is absolutely nothing they have done as a company to show that they even remotely care about their employees. Best thing, on the day they fired hundreds of people at dealerships, they send out an email to the company congratulating on the HR manager getting promoted. Also, they take everything away from its employees, then have a retreat for executives in Florida. CEO shouldn’t even manage a lemonade stand. Do not work for any role at any dealership at all. If you enjoy being miserable and weekly changes in the company, then apply. They have several lawsuits from customers, provincial governments, former employees and current employees. Don’t work for them. They’re also burning through money like crazy. Stock price has dropped significantly, this company may not be around in a couple years. Executive have no idea how dealerships are run, and how it’s a business for long-term customers. They’re short-sighted and find ways to screw over; employees, and customers. DO NOT WORK FOR ANY AUTOCANADA DEALERSHIP!! Trust me!
