Was a great first job. Small local company so growing is hard unless you are a engineer. People are smart, and fun.

The quality system sucks. The quality of the products are great. But the system to make sure sucks. Kept getting better more advance business certifications for "Reasons".

Very intricate advanced technology in the growing composites industry that offers novel solutions to customers. It yields consistently challenging projects, R&D, and contracts to keep everything interesting but thankfully management is incredibly supportive and allows a lot of freedom in the work you do. A strong R&D focus keeps things cutting edge and everyone engaged on what's next.

customers are a lot of defense and oilfield, which leads to long contract time tables which can have projects go on for years. the two sides of the company, older-school manufacturing (with the tech of course) and high tech machine and technology development sometimes seem like the company is being pulled two directions at once.
