Interviewing with ASI has been a fantastic experience. They genuinely care about finding people who align with their culture, those who are eager to grow and stay humble. In my case, the position I initially applied for wasn’t a perfect fit based on my experience, but because they believed I was a cultural fit, they went out of their way to find a place for me at the company.
Meeting the CEO and founder, Mel Torrie, made it easy to understand why ASI is so special. He’s one of the most humble leaders I’ve ever met. During our meeting, he asked what we valued most from previous companies and what we’d carry over if we were starting our own. He wrote down every idea and gave each one sincere consideration.
So far, I haven’t met a single person with anything negative to say about ASI. Everyone I’ve encountered is not only grateful to be here, but also deeply passionate about the company’s mission. It truly feels like a place where people are valued and empowered to do meaningful work.

ASI is experiencing rapid growth, which is exciting but can also lead to some growing pains. The hiring process can feel a bit chaotic at times, and it might take a little longer than expected to hear back. That said, it’s clear they’re doing their best to scale thoughtfully while maintaining their culture.
