Vantaggi
The singular pro to this job was coming home with free items from the bin up front. Skincare, random clothes, etc all from the PR team. Never was allowed to touch anything from the PR closet though.
Svantaggi
There are honestly too many cons to count. The talent and creator division is a complete dumpster fire and should not exist. They are siloed into 1 singular table in the entire office and you will not have a seat of your own and will be forced to sit at the edge of the table. There is no proper training - they throw you onto accounts from day one and expect you to figure it out as you go. Even with 2 prior years of experience, I had no clue what was happening since they don't teach their workflows. Naturally, when you ask questions because there is no training, you are judged for it and labeled “incompetent” by supervisors. The workplace culture feels incredibly hostile, cliquey, and sterile. It feels like a sorority where everyone already knows each other because they do, if you know, you know. If you are not part of that inner circle (or religion), you are treated like an outsider. Favorites are chosen immediately, and if you are not constantly kissing up to leadership, you will absolutely feel the difference. There is also a serious lack of diversity. I was often the only diverse person in the room. On top of that, you are expected to sit through a minimum of 5 to 6 meetings a day and “flag” every little thing. Someone once had to flag that they were stepping away to use the restroom. That should tell you everything. It is one of the most toxic and draining work environments I have ever experienced, almost to the point of being comical. They will fire people under the excuse that “there is no work,” only to hire someone else the very next week. I am genuinely unsure how this company is still operating. It feels like a complete joke. Leadership is questionable at best, and the environment is built on favoritism, overwork, and unnecessary toxicity. Even small things become bizarre, like being publicly called out on a company-wide call if you did not rescue your dog. The PR team barely speaks because they are clearly overworked and burnt out and mad at the world. The cherry on top is that they don't have an actual HR person. They have someone on PR that "onboards" you and they call her HR. It should be illegal. Overall, the worst professional experience I have had. Last thing, if they ever cater food they will not purchase enough for everyone leaving people hungry because they are cheap. (:
