CEO loves making empty promises to our customers. "Avid connect" was a great platform to lure customers into believing that Avid is still alive and well, when the truth is, it's a sinking ship. Product quality has gone from bad to worse because of low budget. With the CEO promising ridiculous features and launch dates of the products, teams have no choice but to launch new consoles with very poor quality. Back when I started to work at Avid, I was proud to tell everyone where I worked at, and what I've been working one. Just one year in, and I'm too embarrassed to tell my friends and customers in the media industry where I worked at. Now that they realised that their products have no future, they're just banking on software subscriptions.
