      Employee benefits are great, perks are great, people are extremely knowledgeable in their field. A small size firm, but they are all hand-picked group of the best of the best in each of their fields. Top talent. Currently, over 30 employees, but the firm is growing rapidly. Compensation is great.

      In general, this is a very top place to work, in my opinion. Just the perks alone, would make this a dream job. One thing, maybe unite everyone a little more, more team building.

      Following my time as an investment banker, Avista Capital Partners ("ACP") provided a solid platform to learn and develop the skills necessary to be a successful principal investor. At Avista, I was surrounded by intelligent, hard-working and passionate people who enjoyed their work from both an intellectual and professional standpoint.

      As ACP is a relatively young company, there exist identify issues with the culture which ultimately impact teamwork and camaraderie within the firm. This is not to say that the people, individually, are not great people - only that the diversity of disparate personalities does, in certain instances, impact one's enjoyment of work.
