Claimed the former was just a coincidence! Laughable excuse. Openly admitted closing better run sites (skills, customer satisfaction, retained business and processes) on a NOT best of breed approach. In other words, the decision was made purely on short term financial gain. It was also a coincidence that the director took a £7 million bonus that year and shareholders agreed stating the main reason being his "cost saving" achievements when merging businesses.
