Your job title isn’t accurate- expected to do the job of 7-10 people
Toxic personalities are driving the company - it’s very much a nepotistic culture. If you’re friends with management they’ll spare you as much as they can, but if you’re not they’ll blame you for anything they think makes sense.
Pay is not competitive based on the expected long hours and late night/weekend messages
Company isn’t growing - mass layoffs of their residential crew on March 14, 2022 and trimming of other teams signal they don’t know what they’re doing.
Bad management- you’re expected to flounder on your own and when something goes wrong they’ll blame you for not being a “right fit.” They won’t train you at all or give you the resources to succeed. No one on sales is properly trained.
Management often doesn’t act until it’s too late and then blame their employees for dropping the ball.
No sense of reality - Avo had major success in 2020 when Covid hit the US market, but 2020 gains were not sustainable for anyone so the mass hiring they did in 2021 set the stage for mass layoffs. However, even knowing they were struggling they still kept hiring on fire and stuck their heads in the sand.
