The job that was posted and sold to me is not the job that I am in. As a district sales manager you are given a profile of a type of woman that would become an avon rep. This woman is usually in dire straights and needs some money. Your job is to get her to sign up. She may have no business experience but all they are looking for is a recruit that will be dumb enough to hand over $10.00. As a DSM you need to stalk these people and find 30 people every 2 weeks that are foolish enough to join this scam. Bad job, no self respecting sales professional would do this for a living. The saying is that Avon is a lifestyle, not just a job. If you are ok with scamming people and handing your life over to Avon (work 70 hours a week) then this is the place for you.
