First of all, the five star reviews that you see on here are written by upper management. Axelon is a very corrupt and hostile working environment. Most employee's don't stay here over 6 months. It's a revolving door that you don't want to get your leg stuck in. If you are reading this, please avoid accepting an offer here unless you absolutely have to. It can be a good place to launch your career on your resume--but you will hate it. Axelon targets recent college graduates who are anxious to get working. When interviewing for a position, notice how HR don't have you interact with ANY current employees on site--that is because everyone who works there is noticeably miserable. Once you accept an offer, there is a week long training period where you learn recruiting and company policy. During this time, you are constantly being told that the company is investing in you and they are counting on you--this is to make you feel guilty about leaving. After training, you are brought onto the 16th floor. This floor looks very different from where you interviewed and received your training on. The 16th floor (aka the dungeon) is where you will now be spending most of your waking hours. Welcome! Everyone here is overworked. Breaks? What's a break? Hardly anyone takes breaks, or even takes their eyes off their computer for that matter. You are often times asked to harass the same person 5-10+ times a day to collect paperwork. Once they give you a quota, it will just get higher and higher with little commission growth. Every week, an email is sent to everyone on your team that ranks the best and worst recruiters for the week. People will often stay later and overwork themselves to avoid being at the bottom of that list. You will likely be yelled at for things that are totally out of your control. Perhaps the worst thing about this place however, is the intentional illusion of an accessible bright future with the company. There are a few people in the company's inner circle who make good money. And their desks will be right next to yours. Axelon makes it seem like you can make that much too if you just stayed with the company a little longer. The truth is, the company's run by a few people that handle all the big accounts. As soon as a big account comes in (which is very rare), it will go right to the inner circle (and yes, they sleep with each-other too). If your not in the circle, there's no opportunity for growth.
