Management treat people poorly and aren’t invested in the long term progression of their staff, communication is poor and there are not many training opportunities - if you have the qualifications needed to do your job there won’t be much appetite to help you grow further. You’re expected to know what you’re doing straight away, especially in manufacturing as the majority are ‘lifers’ who’ve been there since being apprentices and haven’t experienced a job anywhere else.
