Some of the teams you work with are very technically competent, able to solve complex problems and work together well as a unit - its as soon as you go outside of your local team that it becomes a disconnect. The Detica of old (pre-BAE) sounded a great place to work and I joined on that premise, but since being bought it has gone down hill.

The higher management are disconnected from staff a numerous changes recently to 'keep the company in line with the market' are poorly communicated and always come as a shock to all staff rather than introduced smoothly
