Large company with good financial record, which will look good on CV. The work is there if you look for it, and you can take a large responsibility from an early stage. They won't fire anyone.

Ancient site, ancient staff. It really is stuck in the old times with most employees sitting waiting for retirement. THis leaves so many jobsworths it's hardly worth attempting anything. Most work is spent fighting employees and is completely unproductive. Opportunities are not as advertised; transfer between sites or business units is almost impossible (unlike advertised) and the salary is far less than other BAE business units. They won't fire anyone.
