Vantaggi

Good pay and benefits. Great co-workers. I learn something new everyday. My supervisor is a very good and decent person as well.

Svantaggi

Certain supervisors are given latitude to bully employees. Despite calling the Corporate Hot Line nothing is ever done to the bully. There is talk of changing the pay structure for Non-Exempt Salaried employees. The word is that it won't be to our advantage. Training sucks as well. Nothing really tangible pertaining to our job just a bunch of brainwashing. The good training is reserved for suck ups.

Thanks for your post. We are glad you are learning, have great coworkers and a good working relationship with your supervisor. We would like to address the three points you bringing up as Cons: 1) The supervisor you describe as “bully”: be advised that a thorough investigation was conducted and there were no findings of bullying. 2) The pay structure for the Non-exempt employees: be advised that the work rules for will not change. 3) Our employees own their education and training, and we offer many options to support them. We encourage you to talk to your colleagues who are now pursuing degrees fully sponsored by BASF. We also offer a myriad of on-line and instructor-led courses. Please talk to your manager or HR representative who will help you take advantage of these programs and courses if you wish to do so.

Vantaggi

Great benefits, hybrid & remote roles, great colleagues to work with. Great vacation /time off. Helpful colleagues

Svantaggi

Reorganizations (roughly 3 years), IT roles dwindling in North America(moving to India), teams can get very silo-ed, “not my role” = not helping you (when you are looking for answers/assistance), currently seeing a lot of movement out of New Jersey (roles moving to other parts of the country), some organizational charts can be confusing, huge organization(can be difficult at times pinpointing the exact team you may need to work with)
